Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has said that he is lucky to be coached by Stamford Bridge legend Frank Lampard.

Kepa joined Chelsea last season for a world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper after Thibaut Courtois fleed from Chelsea. The move worked out well for the Blues as Courtois has been a joke at his new club whereas young Kepa has shown great signs of brilliance.

Into his second season now, Kepa has a new boss and it is one of the old faces of the club in Frank Lampard. The goalkeeper has been quick to mention the impact Frank has had on the players.

“He is a coach that was, and is, a legend in the club,” the goalkeeper told SNTV.

“He was a very important player during his football career.

“Now he is in his second year as a coach but he is sharing all his experience.

“Everything he knows about football, and everything he has lived, gave to Chelsea, and the titles he won with them like the Champions League, the Premier League and all the possible trophies.

“I am very lucky to have him as a coach.”
