Although the Premier League returned to training two days ago, not everyone is in full swing.
N’Golo Kante is the latest player in the Premier League to oppose the resumption of the season and group training during the coronavirus pandemic. The French national team player attended the training base on Tuesday, did a test that showed negative results, but told Lampard that he did not feel safe and received permission to continue training at home.
Kante’s fear is normal if the history of his family is known. His older brother Niam died of a heart attack just before the World Cup in Russia, and his father lost him when he was 11 years old.
Two years ago, he himself collapsed in front of his teammates in training, although the examinations did not show any heart abnormalities.
Kante will continue to train individually at home while his other teammates work in smaller groups at the Blues’ official training center in London.
