N’Golo Kante has decided on his future amidst interest from Real Madrid.
Real Madrid have reportedly stepped up in their efforts to sign a new midfielder this summer with head coach Zinedine Zidane keen on signing N’Golo Kante. The story can be a third time lucky for Chelsea if Kante says no to the Bernabeu giants after Real scooped Hazard last year and Thibaut Courtois two seasons back.
Kante, is one of the world’s best central defensive midfielders having won the World Cup with France two seasons back. However, there has been criticism from people around regarding his new position at the club where he is deployed in a more advanced rol. It has given birth to rumors that Kante is not being utilised properly and should be shipped off to a team who can reap his benefits.
Chelsea however, can show them a simple stat that Kante has 31 possession wons int he final third, which is the second highest in the league and thus clarifying his importance to this new look Chelsea team who like to break quick and play fluid football.Â
However, with Real Madrid interested, the ball could very much be in Kante’s court. So what has he decided?
Chelsea fans, gear up for this.
He said, “I am at Chelsea, and I still have aims here. What is said elsewhere is not important.”
When asked if Zidane approached him and how he would respond, he said: “That is not important. I am at Chelsea, and I am focused on that.”
