Juventus eye loan move for Chelsea’s Armando Broja
Juventus have set their sights on Chelsea striker Armando Broja, believing the young forward could inject fresh energy into their squad this summer.
Chelsea have been bustling in the transfer market, with a flurry of arrivals and departures shaping their roster. Despite the activity, Juventus see an opportunity to bring Broja to Turin on a loan deal with an option to buy.
Chelsea’s revolving door has seen notable exits, including Thiago Silva, Ian Maatsen, and Omari Hutchinson. As Chelsea explore potential signings like Nico Williams, they also face decisions on several academy graduates linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.
Among these, Broja stands out, having spent the latter half of last season on loan at Fulham.
According to Tutto Juve, Juventus are keen to secure Broja’s services on a temporary basis, viewing him as a young talent capable of rejuvenating their attack.
The 21-year-old striker, who caught attention during his loan spell at Fulham, could offer Juventus the dynamism they seek.
Chelsea find themselves in a delicate position. While they have acquired Marc Guiu, his potential move to Sevilla complicates matters.
The club’s interest in Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid has cooled, leaving them reliant on Nicolas Jackson, who clocked 44 appearances last season. Christopher Nkunku, although capable, is not a natural center-forward.
In this context, retaining Broja might be prudent for Chelsea unless they secure another striker. Selling him outright could fetch around £30 million, but with Juventus pushing for a loan deal, Chelsea must weigh their options carefully.
As the transfer window progresses, Chelsea will need to decide whether Broja’s potential impact at Juventus outweighs their own striking needs.
