It was only last summer when Chelsea fought a tough battle to sign Jorginho. Manchester City were very keen on the Brazil born Italian but Chelsea paid a hefty amount to secure the services of the midfielder.
However, it has only been one yeardc and his future at the club looks shaky to say the least. His agent has shade some more light on his future for the fans.
“Could Jorginho leave with Sarri? He has a contract and stays with Chelsea, 100%,” the player’s agent João Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“In Italy they cannot take it to certain figures,” he added.
Jorginho despite all criticism has played 53 games for the club scoring two goals. He has been a crucial pivot in the midfield and has been instrumental in Chelsea’s passing football. In fact his influence is so high that he has the highest number of passes nearing about 3100 beating Virgil Van Dijk.
However, with Sarri being tipped to leave, the future for Jorginho could be thrown into doubt. Many fans and pundits remain unconvinced by the Italian’s ability to play holding midfield and he might just get sold for the right price.
