The midfielder has attracted strong interest from Premier League
Antonio Conte has been heavily linked with a summer exit after disappointing defend to the Premier League title this year. Chelsea are currently at 5th position and likely to miss out on Champions League next season, unless Liverpool loses and they win the last game of the league on Sunday.
Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has been linked to replace the Italian next season. He has done a great job with the Serie A giants this season but missed out on the League title by very small margin to Juventus, who won their seventh consecutive title.
There were strong speculations that both the managers could swap their clubs in the summer. Even Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis concedes that 59 year old could leave at the end of the season and believes Conte would be the perfect replacement.
The Blue’s could bring another star with Sarri if the manager decides to join them in the summer.
Napoli midfielder Jorginho has told his friends he is confident Sarri would want to bring him to Stamford Bridge should he be appointed boss according to The Times.
The 26 year old has been pivotal for the Italian team this season, linking the play between defense and attack. He has scored three goals in all competitions this season.
But the Premier League giants could face tough competition from five Premier League clubs for the midfielder. Mancheaster United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested in him.
Napoli are willing to sell the Italy International as he have two years left on his contract and have set an asking price of €60 million.
