Chelsea legend John Terry is poised to take over the managerial spot at AFC Bournemouth.

It was recently vacated by Bournemouth club legend Eddie Howe after the club got relegated from the Premier League. Bournemouth is a relatively new club but has had a stunning story in the last decade. Their club legend player Eddie Howe took over as manager towards the end of the last decade when the club was ranked 91st out of the 92 clubs in England.

He took them from the bottom of the fourth division (League Two) to make them a Premier League club in the span of a decade and gave them a 9th place finish.

The club produced some really good talents and Bournemouth, unfortunately, could not keep themselves afloat this season. Eddie Howe recently announced he would be leaving Bournemouth by mutual consent.

Now it is being reported that John Terry could be poised to take over as Bournemouth boss. The Chelsea legend has been an assistant to Aston Villa’s Dean Smith for some time now and will want to take the next step into management.

It is going to be interesting to see him take charge of a team that is on the downhill slope.
