The former England international is currently working as an assistant manager at Aston Villa and has reportedly been considered for the top job at the west London club.
Chelsea have been struck with disaster in their recent outings in all competitions and have been bogged down by defeats at the hands of Bournemouth, Manchester City and most recent of all, Manchester United, with the defeats taking a toll on the concept of “Sarri-ball” applied by their new manager Maurizio Sarri.

Sarri has faced heavy criticism from experts and fans alike and might be on the verge of leaving the club in the near future. A number of names have come up to replace the Italian and John Terry has been one of them.
Though the former player has not managed a team as a full-time manager, odds are on his side to take over at the Bridge. The other names making the rounds are that of Zinedine Zidane and Frank Lampard.
