Chelsea are set to lose out on their prized asset of Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Blues youngster who came through the club’s academy is an under 17 FIFA World Cup winner for England. The 18 year old is a prodigious talent and has played crucial parts in reserve teams.

He was brought through the first team last year under Antonio Conte. However, he never got enough first team chances. Things promised to change this season under Maurizio Sarri.

The new coach loves attacking players and with Chelsea’s options up front thinning out, the player had hoped for more chances. However, as it happened, Willian and Pedro kept giving Hazard company throughout the season with Hudson-Odoi only playing 14 matches; most of them coming as substitutes.

Now as it would happen, Bayern Munich came through with a bid for the player. Chelsea turned down the initial two bids but their third bid met Chelsea’s evaluation. However, Chelsea have held on because they want to keep Odoi. They have also reportedly offered him a mega deal worth £85,000 a week.

Despite such a huge increase, the player is reportedly set to not agree to a deal making it cleat he is keen on joining Bayern and leaving England.
