How Chelsea can line up next season if they get the transfers right!
This11.com

A club with a spendthrift billionaire owner that has been kept away from the market for over 12 months!

Once the season restarts, you know how Chelsea will react – yes, buying a handful of stars is definitely on the agenda for both Frank Lampard and Chelsea.

Players like Giroud, Willian and Pedro are running down their contracts while others like Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri will be moved on in all likelihood. So who will Lampard sign and how will the new look Chelsea team be?

In attack, Tammy Abraham needs another striking partner to share the load – we are going with Lautaro Martinez over Timo Werner – Martinez is more of a central striker and Inter are more likely to deal with Chelsea seeing that they need Alonso/Palmieri from the Blues.

In the wings, we already have options in Ziyech, Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi. However, the biggest teams have depth and quality so an outlandish transfer for Jadon Sancho seems likely given that other clubs will not be able to stump up so much on a single player while they need to address other areas as well.

The midfield should be calm with the rise of Billy Gilmour and return of Loftus-Cheek. It means we have an army of central midfielders like Kovacic, Jorginho, Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Gilmour, Mount and Barkley.

The defence needs work for sure and the selling of Alonso/Emerson will most likely make funds available for Telles who has told his club he wants to leave. We choose him over Chilwell given the inflated price the Leicester City defender is commanding at the moment.

A centre back too would not look bad as Chelsea’s defenders have not been consistent. A leader like Kalidou Koulibaly would be fantastic and given his age now, he is likely to come way below Napoli’s earlier asking price of £100 million.

As for goalkeepers, AC Milan’s stocks were greatly reduced due to the current situation of the country and reports have confirmed that Chelsea can land goalkeeping star Gianaluigi Donnarumma for as little as £30 million!

We will also be looking to sell out stars like Danny Drinkwater, Kurt Zouma, Alonso, Michy Batshuayi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and other fringe players to make stump up a revenue well in excess of £180 million!

So with a net outlay of £200 million, we believe Chelsea can form this team:

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Goalkeeper: Gianaluigi Donnarumma (£30 milllion)

Defence: Cesar Azpilicueta (C), Antonio Rudiger, Kalidou Koulibaly (£80 million), Alex Telles (£40 million)

Midfield: N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic

Attacking Midfield: Jadon Sancho (£125 million), Hakim Ziyech (£34 million), Christian Pulisic

Striker: Lautaro Martinez (£70 million)

Substitutes: Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Jorginho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham

What do you think of this team?

  2. The team which you have shown above is just fine but am worried again wereby willam is living the club right, why do you want to sign bayern star while is over 30 or napoli star+the young team is ok which lamps has+i suggest that they just need time and patience on them@kepa is fin but what he need is competition meaning it’s fin to bering a goalkeeper beside him+midfield is great so far+all we is to strengthen the central forward+ziyech is good too because he is more used to play for young star like at ajax team+plz any comments

    • Its a great idea provided that kepa is still young…nd can be our next cech in the near future only if we chelsea remain patience with him and provide a more competitive environment for him…good job Frankie…!!!
