Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to sign a new five year deal with Chelsea, which will see the 18-year-old earn close to a £100,000 a week.

After months and months of negotiations, it does look like yet another long and arduous saga has come to an end, with Callum Hudson-Odoi set to sign a new deal.

The Sun has reported that the young forward will sign a five-year deal, with it set to be announced within the next few days. It does mark the end to his will-he or won’t he saga, with Bayern Munich heavily linked with a move.

Once the winger returns from injury, Chelsea announce the new contract signing of Hudon-Odoi, which will see him earn £100,000-a-week – among the club’s highest-paid players.

The England forward, 18, played 61 minutes in Friday’s reserve clash at Brighton after five months out with an Achilles injury. And the Blues are now ready to announce Hudson-Odoi’s new terms, which will put an end to Bayern Munich’s interest in the teenager.

The German champions made him their primary target last year and had bids rejected in January before injury struck. Bayern did sign Jamal Musiala and Bright Arrey-Mbi, both 16, from Chelsea this summer but will miss out this time.
