Eden Hazard has said that Chelsea must qualify for top four or win the Europa League. Hazard believes the Stamford Bridge outfit are one of the top teams and must have Champions League football at any cost or through any means.
The Blues have a chance to win the Europa League and will want to make it to the semi-finals this Thursday by beating Slavia Prague.
“We have to qualify – that’s it, that simple,” he told the club’s official website.
“We want to play in the Champions League next season so the only solution is to be in the top four or win the Europa League.
“It’s not just about me, the club has to be in the Champions League. For the fans, the board, the players, the staff, we need this.”
“Every year is different, every year is hard, but at the end the target is always the same,” the Belgian added.
“To win a trophy and play Champions League. In the last 10 years we’ve won a lot of trophies, so we need to think we can keep doing it.
“It’s just about mentality. We are Chelsea. If we want to win something we can do it.”
