Jermaine Jenas believes that Eden Hazard is too good for Chelsea and hence could end up leaving for Real Madrid in the summer.

The Belgian’s possible move to Santiago Bernabeu has been subjected to a long debated topic over the last couple of years. Hazard’s individual brilliance and ability to turn matches on its head has seen him earmarked by the Madrid hierarchy.

The player himself has flirted with Real Madrid on multiple occasions and has refused to rule out a transfer in the near future while expressing it has been his dream to play for the Galacticos.

Hazard has only 18 months left on his current contract and that might see Chelsea forced to sell of their Belgian in the summer to avoid losing him for free next year.

TV Pundit Jermaine Jenas also believes that a move would befit the player as he is too good for his current club. ‘How good has Hazard been tonight? Demanding the ball, going by players. I never thought I would say it, but he’s too good for this Chelsea team,’ said Jenas after last night’s EFL cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur.

While there is absolute truth in Jenas’ remark on Hazard’s quality, most Chelsea fans are unlikely to kindly accept the reality of the consequence. Chelsea without Hazard will be toothless.
