Hakim Ziyech furious with failed PSG transfer

Hakim Ziyech’s loan move to PSG collapsed in the final hours of the deadline day.

The Moroccan winger was close to leaving Stamford Bridge on the deadline day of the January transfer window.

The deal collapsed as Chelsea didn’t file the documents in time and Ziyech will now stay at Stamford Bridge for the rest of the season.

PSG accused Chelsea of making errors in the first two documents and by the time the third was submitted, it was already too late.

Ziyech has made only 15 appearances in all competitions this season and helped Morocco finish fourth in the World Cup.

He will further fall down the pecking order after Chelsea made several new signings this January.

In this window alone, Chelsea spent around £318 million on eight new recruits in an attempt to qualify for the Champions League.

The West London outfit could see a number of departures in the summer with Ziyech expected to force a move out after the January window fiasco.
