Graham Potter will have a hard time giving chances to so many players.

We are all aware of the current form of Chelsea and Graham Potter has a huge pressure. Rob Green reckons Chelsea’s head is facing an unmanageable situation following the club’s abundance of signings in the January transfer window.

The former Brighton manager joined Blues in September last year as he replaced Thoams Tuchel. Potter is seeing poor results since his appointment. They won only won game in 2023 so far and dropping points regularly.

The West London club have won just two of their last 14 games overall. They ere defeated 1-0 on Saturday by struggling Southampton in the Premier League.

Todd Boehly has assured that Potter’s acquisition is part of a long-term initiative, and poor results won’t affect his future at Chelsea.

But Green feels that adding so many players during the transfer window has placed pressure on Potter that is nearly impossible to manage, and he is concerned that things may only get worse.

The goalkeeper was speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live and said (h/t Independent) that Potter will have a hard time giving chances to so many players, as he said:

“With the amount of players there, it’s an unmanageable situation. Once the crowd turns, it starts to get ugly, and the players get affected and go into their shells. You can already see it from the players’ perspective, from an attacking perspective, and then it gets harder.“With so many players coming in, he is uncertain on his starting line-up so he has chopped and changed and you never get continuity when you do that.”
