Frank Lampard believes the title race is wide open this season.
The former Chelsea manager claims that Manchester United and Liverpool will battle it out for the Premier League trophy this season.
Chelsea have agreed on a deal with Inter’s Romelu Lukaku who will undergo a medical very soon.
Lampard believes there will be more clubs who will be fighting this season in the domestic league.
He said: “I think you can’t discount Manchester United. They weren’t far off last year and they’ve gone again and brought in really impressive signings.
“I think Liverpool will be the same, they missed huge players through injury for a big part of last season and the year before they were one of the best teams we’ve seen in the Premier League. You can’t discount them.
“As much as you can’t discount the teams pushing those from just behind. Leicester we saw win at the weekend, West Ham improved greatly, Aston Villa lose Jack Grealish but are brining in strong players. It makes for an exciting season.”
