Frank Lampard backs summer signing Kai Havertz to become one of the best footballers on the planet.
Kai Havertz has arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer window with quite the reputation but has somewhat failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
He’s struggling to produce his best performance on the pitch and was recently hit by the coronavirus in early November.
The German playmaker had strong symptoms of the virus but coach Frank Lampard denies it would have a long-term effect on the German.

“He is fitting in really well and he had really strong symptoms of COVID,” said Lampard.
“Not all the players have had it like that and it took a while to come over that. Before the test his form was fantastic.
“I was delighted with the way he was playing and COVID cut that short.
“I have no worries about Kai, exactly the opposite. He is going to be a very big player for me and in the world.
“It can take a while for players to adapt to the Premier League, but I think he has done very well.”
