The winger has scored 98 goals for the English side in 300 appearances and has claimed two Premier League titles during his time in west London, along with FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League triumphs.
Despite Blue’s struggle last season, the Belgium International featured regularly for them and managed to score 17 goals in all competitions. He was very influential against Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup as he scored the winner in the 1-0 win, helping the team to grab their 8th FA Cup title.
Though the Premier League giants finished 5th in the Premier League and missed out on the the Champions League Football for the upcoming season. It’s the second time the club have missed out on a top 4 place in the past 3 years.
The 27 year old has been one of the stand out players in this year’s World Cup, scoring 3 goals and assisting 2. Though Belgium were defeated by France in the semi-finals but they defeated England in the third place play off.
The Belgian has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past couple of transfer windows and with Cristiano Ronaldo leaving them to join Juventus this summer, he has again been linked with a move to the La Liga giant.
Chelsea are reportedly demanding £200 million for him and hoping their price tag acts as a deterrent for the Spanish side, who are keen on landing him to replace the Portugal International.
Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui has decided against trying to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea, AS reports.
The Spanish outlet claims the new Blancos boss will instead place his faith in Isco and, to a lesser extent, Marco Asensio.
