Chelsea defender Emerson has been tipped to join a Serie A club this summer.
The Italian defender who joined the Blues back in the summer of 2018 from AS Roma has been unable to cement a first team spot in the last two seasons.
He has had to fight for his spot with Marcos Alonso over the span of last two years but unfortunately for Chelsea neither have shown the ability to win over the spot completely. It is believed Lampard has run out of patience with the attacking minded left back and has agreed to move him on with multiple clubs in Italy interested in him.
Juventus also happen to be a suitor for the Italian with Sarri a fan of Emerson. His agent however, has reaffirmed that no contact has yet been established with Juventus regarding the future of his client.
“Emerson is very happy at Chelsea, he gets along well with his teammates and coach,” agent Fernando Garcia told TuttoJuve.com.
“As of today, I have not had any contact with other clubs. It’s true that Juventus were interested when he was still playing for Roma, but that was the season before he moved to Chelsea.
“As I said, he’s very happy at Chelsea and already in one of the biggest leagues in the world. Only God can say whether Emerson will return to play in Italy or not.”
It remains to be seen how Chelsea fare in the transfer market where Lampard is actively looking for a new left back.
