Eden Hazard rules out a return to his former club Chelsea.

The Real Madrid star has struggled since his £100million move from Chelsea in 2019 managing only 59 games so far.

In his two seasons at the club, the Belgian winger has scored only five goals.

There have been reports claiming that Hazard wants a return to Stamford Bridge.

Hazard won two Premier League titles, the Europa League and FA Cup during his time with the Blues.

“I don’t see myself leaving Real Madrid right away,” he said in a Belgium press conference.

“My first two years weren’t great due to injuries. When I’m fit, I can do great things for the clubs.

“Now I want to think about the European Championship first. Then I will give everything for Real.”

He added reflecting on his season: “Everything went well from the start of my career. I have never had many injuries.

“It has been different for a year and a half. I know that I cannot put everything on bad luck, but it has been a lot. The corona crisis, the injuries.

“I was always strong when I could play many matches in a row. Now that was not possible. I am close to my good level. I just have to do match rhythm now. I do everything I can to not get injured.”
