Eden Hazard Has Made His Decision

Eden Hazard has made a decision on what to do this summer with the questions of a Chelsea exit pounding on his door.

The Belgian has only a year left on his contract with the Blues and a move to Real Madrid seems to be imminent.

“Yes I have made my decision but it is not just about me,” he told reporters. “Would I have liked it to be cleared up earlier in the season? Yes, I wanted that but that’s not happened. I’m still waiting like you are waiting and the fans are waiting.”

Despite spending several weeks out of the top four, Chelsea have managed to guarantee Champions League football for next season and have also progressed to the Europa League final.

They are due to face Arsenal at the Wanda Metropolitana on 29 May 2019, for Maurizio Sarri to get a chance to win his first ever trophy as a manager.

“Yes. I’ve told the club a couple of weeks ago,” Hazard added. “I have made my decision, that’s it I’m still waiting.”

The 28-year-old waved goodbye to the fans after the Leicester City game on Sunday. He will have a chance to bid a proper farewell in around three weeks time if he decides to leave.
