Eden Hazard Backs Callum Hudson-Odoi To Be The Future Of Chelsea

Eden Hazard has backed Callum Hudson-Odoi as he feels the winger could be a huge future prospect for Chelsea.

The youngster has been the centre of attraction this season as his exemplary skills on the pitch has attracted much attention. Despite proving his worth a number of times he was given only his second start by manager Maurizio Sarri in the 2-0 win over West Ham United in the Premier League.

With Hazard’s future up in the air, the 18 year old could be a big bet for Chelsea in the coming seasons. The Blues rejected a number of advances from Bayern Munich who was very keen to take the player to Germany.

Hazard said, “He’s the future of Chelsea.

“I’ve told him already. He’s still young but when you see him he looks like he’s played 10 years.

“He’s a great guy to work with, he’s been fantastic. He wants to learn and he’s young so I hope Chelsea can keep him for a long time.

“He’s got quality, sometimes I understand it’s hard to get young players in the team because we have people like me, Willian, Pedro.

“But when he has the chance to play they have to show they’re ready and Callum is showing that right now.”
