Former Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has delivered some weekly updates for the Blues.
Firstly, it seems Drogba is in on some interesting news regarding the appointment of Frank Lampard.
Asked who will be the best Chelsea manager, he said: “The one who is in talks now to get the job – Frank Lampard.” When asked again about the timing of Lampard’s announcement, he added: “Relax! Relax!”
Then he went on speak about how Chelsea plan to cope with the loss of Hazard.
“No one can replace Hazard, he is special,” Drogba said during an Instagram Live on his official account on Saturday. “But someone else will come, [and] step up. Hazard is a legend at Chelsea. That’s life, that’s football.”
Hazard spent seven years at Chelsea, scoring over 100 goals and making almost 100 assists. He was easily one of the best players ever to play for Chelsea and now has made a well deserved move to Real Madrid where he will hope to win the Ballon d’Or.
Hazard is still in his prime has he is only 28 years old and will want to succeed Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the newest best player in the world.
