Denis Zakaria, a midfielder for Chelsea, will be out of action for the upcoming month, according to manager Graham Potter

After getting hurt during Chelsea’s game against Fulham in the middle of the week, the Swiss international missed the match against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Zakaria’s departure is a serious setback for Chelsea. With so many injuries, the team needs all hands on deck. The current injury list includes Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Raheem Sterling, Reece James, N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, Ben Chilwell, Christian Pulisic, and Wesley Fofana.

Zakaria had been in excellent shape lately, but the injury has stopped him. However, Zakaria has experienced injury problems in the past, namely while playing for Juventus and Borussia Monchengladbach.

In spite of Zakaria’s absence, Chelsea defeated Patrick Vieira’s team by a score of 1-0. Although it was a close game that could have gone either way, Kai Havertz’s header gave the Blues the victory. The team also revealed that Mykhailo Mudryk, an attacker from Ukraine, had been acquired from Shakhtar Donetsk.

After winning out competition from London rivals Arsenal, they introduced him after halftime. They will spend an additional €30 million in add-ons after paying €70 million to sign Mudryk.
