Former Manchester United Daley Blind has said that he is sad to see the current plight his former club are in. He also praised Chelsea for their recent performances ahead of their Champions League game against the Blues.

Blind stayed at United from 2014 to 2018, winning the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League in the process.

“Regarding Chelsea, they are doing well,’ the Netherlands international continued. ‘They have a good philosophy under a manager who wants to play out from the back,” Blind said of Chelsea.

“They play different attacking football with a lot of youngsters and that’s nice to see.”

“From that perspective, it’s good. But if you’re talking about United then I’m not happy about that, of course.”

“‘Of course I’m not happy to see Man Utd and how they’re performing at the moment,” said the 29-year-old.

“I’m still a fan of United and it’s not nice to see.”
