Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr to pursue Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella, just days after the club finalized a €50 million deal for his compatriot Joao Felix.
CR7 Targets Chelsea Double: Al-Nassr Plot Cucurella Move Following Felix Signing

The transfer request, reported by Spanish journalist Jose Felix Diaz, underscores Ronaldo’s growing influence at Al-Nassr as they aim to challenge for domestic honors.
Cucurella, 27, has evolved into a cornerstone of Chelsea’s defense since joining from Brighton in 2022.
Last season, he started 36 Premier League matches and made 54 total appearances, becoming indispensable for manager Enzo Maresca after overcoming early struggles.
Maresca recently hailed him as “a smart player and one of the main characters in the locker room,” praising his role in Chelsea’s Conference League and Club World Cup triumphs.
Despite Al-Nassr’s interest, Chelsea have no intention of selling. Cucurella’s contract runs until June 2028, and the club values his tactical versatility, recovery speed, and leadership.
As Goal noted, his consistent performances make a departure “quite remote”.

Al-Nassr’s need for defensive reinforcements is acute they failed to replace Alex Telles and may lose Aymeric Laporte but Chelsea’s stance remains firm.
The Saudi club’s pursuit of Cucurella follows their agreement to sign Joao Felix for an initial €30 million, with add-ons potentially raising the fee to €50 million.
While Felix seeks redemption after underwhelming spells in Europe, Ronaldo’s bid to reunite with another Chelsea star faces steep odds. For now, Cucurella’s future lies at Stamford Bridge.
