Kepa Arrizabalaga and Billy Gilmour won’t be featuring for the Blues clash with Manchester United on Saturday.

Lampard has confirmed that the two Chelsea players will be out, while Silva and Pulisic will be present.

When asked about Chelsea’s injury concerns at his pre-match press conference, Lampard said:

‘Thiago Silva and Pulisic are both fine, we have a pretty clean bill of health other than Kepa who has a shoulder issue and won’t travel to Manchester.

‘The only other player out is Billy Gilmour. ‘Cech is not coming [as a player], no.’

Lampard added: ‘Man United are a very good team and we have played them enough last season to know that.’

Eduoard Mendy will be replacing Kepa in this fixture – but he admits that despite fighting for the starting spot at Chelsea, he and Kepa are good friends.

‘I have a very good relationship with Kepa, the group of goalkeepers we have, we’re all very open and all of us understand the team is the most important thing here and doing what is right for the group,’ the Senegal shot-stopper said.

‘Our relationships are all very good, we work well together and we’re pushing each other every day to improve ourselves and improve each other.

‘We know as goalkeepers we have to stay unified and united and that is what is happening at the moment.’
