Chelsea have been linked with a move for Kai Havertz for all summer now.

The Blues have already signed Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner but are showing no signs of slowing down. They still are keen to add players like Declan Rice, Ben Chilwell and Jan Oblak at the back and another attacker up front.

The man they have identified to play up is Kai Havertz. The Bayer Leverkusen player has been in great form for club and country and at the age of 21 has already been compared to surpass the likes of Mesut Ozil and Michael Ballack.

The player can play as a winger, a second striker and a playmaker and will add a new dimension to Chelsea’s attack according to former Chelsea defender – Ashley Cole.

“Frank has had a brilliant first season and added two players, and maybe Havertz as well,” Cole told StatsPerformNews.

“Our attacking threat is amazing and the fans will be happy. Hopefully, they can add Havertz to make their attacking threat even more potent.

“It is a young squad, with young players who have top quality and have played in top leagues being added.

“It’s good to see them at Chelsea and hopefully they can quickly integrate into the team ahead of next season.”
