Christian Pulisic insists he hasn’t spoken with Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri since sealing his move to the West London club from Borussia Dortmund.

Pulisic will be arriving in the next summer as Chelsea paid a whopping £58m to acquire his services. The USA international has been loaned back to Dortmund immediately and will continue his development at the Bundesliga club for the remainder of the season.

With Eden Hazard’s future in doubt, Pulisic’s arrival would be a welcome boost for Sarri. The Italian earlier lamented the dearth of the creativity and the 20 year old could be his answer to all the problems.

Sarri earlier insisted he nodded positively when the club asked his view regarding Pulisic’s transfer to the club. It remains to be seen how he plans to use him when the player arrives next season.

On being asked if he has a conversation with his future manager the winger replied, “No, nothing like that.

“Like I said, I’ve been here and playing with Dortmund the whole time and I’ve been focused here, but I’ll be really excited once the time comes.”

“You have to go in and earn your spot and prove you are worthy of being on the field.

“I think they definitely see me in one of the wider areas, but I think they also know that I can play kind anywhere across the attack. So I’m ready for wherever I need to be filled in really.”
