Benoit Badiashile, a centre back for Chelsea, suffered a hamstring injury during training this week and will be sidelined for some time, the team has confirmed

The 22-year-old pulled up after attempting a sliding challenge. The French international left practise right away to get scanned. Yesterday, reports claimed that the issue was with the groyne. But the hamstring is the problem. The gamer will nonetheless miss a sizable amount of time. He might not return until August of this year. Badiashile transferred from AS Monaco to the Blues in January for £35 million. One of their better additions has been him.

The young defender is composed and unflappable. He has amazing ball skills and easily wins his duels. The defender will be missed by Chelsea, but they have many other options in the rear. They have Wesley Fofana, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Thiago Silva. Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill, who is returning, are also available. Prior to the upcoming season, the latter will return following a productive loan at Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Seagulls want to keep Colwill because of how well he performed while on loan with them. Although he admitted that he is a Chelsea player, head coach Roberto De Zerbi said he wants him to remain around for next year. Since they are more concerned about other positions, the Blues don’t need to worry about replacing Badiashile.

A goalkeeper, defensive midfielder, and striker are all desired signings for Chelsea. This summer, the club anticipates a large number of departures. Mauricio Pochettino, the new head coach, must turn this drab Chelsea club into a threatening unit. They are on track to finish with their lowest number of points in the Premier League standings in about 50 years and were eliminated from the Champions League.

Todd Boehly and the Clearlake Consortium, Chelsea’s new owners, have made unneeded and careless signings since taking over last summer. In the following transfer window, they must fix the issues they have brought about. For them to avoid further sinking the club than they already have this summer will be important.
