Chelsea would be an ‘attractive proposition’ to Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe

Chelsea would be a ‘attractive prospect’ to PSG star Kylian Mbappe if he left the French capital, with the Blues having ‘huge’ aspirations under Todd Boehly.

According to French football analyst Julien Laurens, the 23-year-old is eager to quit the Parc des Princes after feeling ‘betrayed’ by the European heavyweights.

Laurens adds that when Mbappe signed a new deal in May, he was supposedly assured that Neymar would be sold and that a new attacker would be brought in to accompany him.

According to The Telegraph, PSG has no plans to sell the World Cup champion and would only enter into discussions if a deal of more over £300 million was presented.

Chelsea are thought to be among the teams interested in signing Mbappe. While a January deal is doubtful, a summer escape cannot be ruled out.

Chelsea would be an attractive proposition to the striker who cost PSG £166 million back in 2017. The club have lofty goals under the new ownership which could prove a bonus to players like Mbappe.

While Mbappe rumour continues, the Blues have been working on a deal to recruit one of his compatriots.

Chelsea are said to have inked a pre-contract deal with RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku ahead of a summer transfer.

The Blues are eager to get a jump on their competitors and want to sign the 24-year-old before the World Cup begins on November 20.
