At just 19, Angelo Gabriel’s potential was clear during his loan spell at Strasbourg in Ligue 1, where he made 25 appearances and provided four assists.
However, despite his promise, the winger never featured for Chelsea’s senior team, with the club opting to move him on as part of their extensive squad overhaul this summer.
Angelo’s signing marks Al-Nassr’s fifth addition this transfer window, joining the likes of Mohamed Simakan and fellow Brazilians Bento and Wesley.
The club has been proactive in bolstering their squad as they aim to recapture the Saudi Pro League title they last won in 2019.
The Brazilian teenager has penned a five-year deal with Al-Nassr and will be registered as one of their two U23 foreign players.
With his flair and creativity, Angelo is expected to play a pivotal role in the club’s pursuit of domestic and continental success.
As Al-Nassr looks to bounce back from a mixed start to the season, which included a loss in the Saudi Cup to arch-rivals Al-Hilal, the arrival of Angelo Gabriel could provide the spark needed to ignite their campaign.
