Chelsea vs Bournemouth Head To Head Results & Records (H2H)

Chelsea reportedly dream of signing AFC Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, as per Caught Offside.

Chelsea Eye January Move for Bournemouth Star Alex Scott

The West London club view the 23-year-old as a key target to strengthen their engine room when the January transfer window opens.

Scott joined Bournemouth from Bristol City and initially needed time to adapt before displaying his clear quality last season.

The midfielder contributed five goals across 39 appearances in all competitions, helping the Cherries secure a sixth-place finish and Europa League qualification.

Despite Bournemouth’s difficult start under new manager Marco Rose, Scott has impressed.

He has registered two goal contributions in six matches this season and has earned a place in the England national team squad.

Chelsea failed to replace Enzo Fernandez after selling the South American this summer.

The Blues initially pursued Scott and even launched a formal proposal, but Bournemouth refused to sell a player whose contract runs until 2028. The club may also resist a mid-season exit.

The report claims Chelsea also hold interest in Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton as an alternative.

Additionally, the Blues grew furious after AS Monaco blocked their deadline-day move for Lamine Camara.

They do not plan to revive that pursuit, and Liverpool have now entered the race for the midfielder following Curtis Jones’s departure.

Valued at around £43 million by Transfermarkt, Scott excels in a box-to-box role but also performs effectively in defensive midfield. He can even cover the attacking midfield position if required.

The Englishman possesses high potential and would represent a shrewd acquisition for any top club.

Chelsea will likely face a battle to convince Bournemouth to part with their prized asset this January.
