Chelsea set £60m price tag on Noni Madueke amid transfer speculation

Chelsea are reportedly open to selling Noni Madueke this summer, with a price tag of around £60 million set for the young winger.

Despite his promising performances in pre-season under new manager Enzo Maresca, the club appears willing to part ways with Madueke if a suitable offer comes in before the transfer window closes.

Madueke, who was signed under former boss Graham Potter, has shown flashes of brilliance, but with the recent arrival of Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Chelsea’s attacking options have expanded.

Maresca, while valuing depth in his squad, is not ruling out the possibility of a sale, especially if it means bolstering other areas of the team.

Newcastle United, under the leadership of Eddie Howe, has shown interest in the 22-year-old, and a move to St. James’ Park could be on the cards.

However, Chelsea are not actively pushing for his departure, signaling that Madueke’s future in West London still has potential. The situation hinges on whether any club is willing to meet Chelsea’s valuation.

The dynamic winger has the talent to succeed at Stamford Bridge, and Maresca could find a way to incorporate both Madueke and Neto into the same lineup.

Yet, with Chelsea continuing to pursue other high-profile targets like Joao Felix and Victor Osimhen, the competition for places could intensify.

For now, Chelsea are keeping their options open, prepared to listen to offers, but equally content to keep Madueke as part of their plans for the new season.
