Jose Mourinho Backs Maurizio Sarri To Succeed At Chelsea

Jose Mourinho Backs Maurizio Sarri To Succeed At Chelsea

Jose Mourinho believes Maurizio Sarri could succeed at Chelsea if given the time to prove himself.

The Italian boss looked to be on the verge of getting sacked last month after collecting a couple of embarrassing defeats and in turn dropping down to the 6th spot of the Premier League.

While the Blues have not climbed their way back in the top four, they have won their past two league games and also have a game in hand.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Mourinho explained how it is different in England than in Italy for all managers. He said, “Honestly, Italy is not an easy country.”

“In Italy, you learn how to deal with the press who are very specialist. They have top commentators, they have people with great experience in football and the journalists are very clever in using the emotional way people live football in Italy.”

“Maurizio Sarri comes to England with more than 20 years of experience in football. I think he’s just ready. The more difficult thing to do is to impose his style of play which is his way he always played in Napoli.”

“The Premier League is the kind of country where you have to lose a bit your identity to try to adapt to the characteristics of the game and the characteristics of the opponents. He will learn with time. I believe the second season will be better for him.”

Former Chelsea Defender Blasts Jose Mourinho For Ill Treatment

Nathan Ake has hit out at Jose Mourinho alleging the manager had almost finished his career at Chelsea.

The Dutch International was regarded as one of the promising defenders and flourished under Rafa Benitez in the 2012-13 season having signed for Chelsea in 2011.

The 24 year old had a brilliant impact at Stamford Bridge and went on to appear six times for the senior side that season. He also was adjudged the club’s young player of the year and had hoped to make his mark at the West London club.

But after Mourinho’s arrival, he was quick to discover he is not going to get his chances. Subsequently, a number of loan moves happened and the defender went on to sign a permanent deal with the Cherries.

Ake said, “I went to the first team at Chelsea and played under Rafa Benitez and I always thought, ‘why is everyone saying setbacks are coming because everything is going up, up, up?’

“The season after Benitez left I thought, ‘this is going to be my season’. Then Jose Mourinho came and, without training, I got dropped into the second team.

“That was one of the toughest things for me, mentally. I was quite broken. Everything was going great, I played a few games, I was Young Player of the Year and then I was in the reserves again.”

Which Chelsea players have tattoos? Here we are going to look at the Chelsea players with tattoos. What do they mean? Which Chelsea players have the best tattoos? Here we have images and pics of all the Chelsea FC players and their tattoos in 2018.

There are many footballers now who have tattoos. In-fact, there are probably just as many footballers with tattoos than without! Some footballers go for the full sleeves or half-sleeves while others get tattoos on their neck. Players like Chelsea’s Kenedy or PSG star Neymar both have tattoos on their neck.

Here are the Chelsea players tattoos 2018

Some tattoos can be football related or others are more personal to them- such as tattoos representing their family.

But here we will look and see which Chelsea players have tattoos.

Chelsea players with tattoos: Raul Meireles tattoos

Former Chelsea star Raul Meireles was covered in tattoos. The former Blues midfielder is probably most fondly remembered for the great goal he scored in the Champions League against Benfica. But he also happens to be covered in pretty awesome tattoos too.

I have to say, Raul Meireles really does suit having tattoos along with his beard and Mohawk.

Chelsea players with tattoos: Kenedy tattoos

As you can see, Chelsea star Kenedy is covered in tattoos. I like his neck and leg tattoos the best. Kenedy is on loan at Newcastle and it’s not clear yet if he’s returning to Chelsea or not.

Nathan Ake has claimed that Jose Mourinho broke him at Chelsea. The youngster is one of the many Chelsea stars who have been turned down by the first team managers and had to prove his worth elsewhere and is a prime testimony to what exactly is wrong at Chelsea.

In an interview with the Telegraph, he revealed, “I went to the first team at Chelsea and played under Rafa Benitez and I always thought, ‘why is everyone saying setbacks are coming because everything is going up, up, up?'”

“The season after Benitez left I thought, ‘this is going to be my season’. Then Jose Mourinho came and, without training, I got dropped into the second team. That was one of the toughest things for me, mentally. I was quite broken.”

“Everything was going great, I played a few games, I was young player of the year and then I was in the reserves again.”

Ake has been linked with a sensational return to Chelsea for the last few transfer windows now. The young defender has certainly proved his worth in the Premier League and has a bright future ahead of him with or without Chelsea.

Merson predicts easy Chelsea win against Fulham
Bildbyran

Chelsea will win comfortably today against Fulham, according to Sky Sports pundit and former Gunners star Paul Merson.

“Chelsea. How many? How many do you want? Chelsea have turned a corner, raised the bar and set an example. I expect them to go here and win this comfortably. These two are chalk and cheese.”

“It looked like Fulham downed tools the other night, they didn’t look interested, and looked like a relegated team. If they play like that against Chelsea, who are far better than Southampton, it’s going to be a comfortable result.”

Fulham have been having a terrible season and are looking likely to be relegated. They are facing trouble staying up and have already run through two managers this season. Their latest appointment is Scott Parker who will take over till the end of the season to save the club from relegation.

The Cottagers will face their local rivals Chelsea who have been having a turbulent season but seem to have turned things around when they defeated Tottenham Hotspur in the midweek league clash.

Chelsea will want to score another crucial three points as the race for the top four heats up

Maurizio Sarri Insists Chelsea Players Need To Help Jorginho

Maurizio Sarri claims Chelsea players can help Jorginho with their better understanding of the Sarri-ball tactics.
Jorginho has been severely criticised off late for his mediocre performance in the middle of the pitch. The deep lying playmaker arrived alongside Sarri from Napoli at the start of this season but is yet to hit the ground properly.
With N’Golo Kante being used in a more attacking role Jorginho’s inability to cope up with the holding role has drawn massive ire from the supporters. The Italian international’s performance in the Serie-A attracted huge interest from a number of clubs but so far he has failed to live up to the expectation.
Sarri insists Jorginho’s teammates need to be habituated with his possession based football. “Jorginho has a very strong character, a very strong personality.
“So I can believe that he has no problem to play under pressure. I think that he played very well in the last match (against Tottenham), better in the second half than in the first half.
“For him, it’s very important to finish the match in that way. I think that he can do better. But he needs all the team to understand very well our way of football.”

Longest serving Chelsea managers of all-time!

Longest serving Chelsea managers of all-time? Which Chelsea managers have lasted the longest? Chelsea FC football managers? Jose Mourinho? Antonio Conte? Carlo Ancelotti? Who are The longest-lasting Chelsea managers?

Here we look at the longest serving Chelsea managers of all-time. We will look throughout history of Chelsea FC past managers to find out who were the best.

When you think of long-serving Chelsea FC football managers, Jose Mourinho probably comes to mind (depending on your age). But you’ll be surprised to find out that Jose Mourinho doesn’t even reach the Top 5 longest serving Chelsea managers.

Being a manager is tough these days. The managerial turn-over is very high. Its not uncommon to see a manager get sacked after just a few bad results.

But back in the old days, Chelsea managers tended to last a lot longer. Perhaps it was a different time back then, or perhaps it’s because the current owner Roman Abramovich is very demanding. Expectations are higher for Chelsea managers these days and the stakes are high. Managers such as Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti have been sacked for one bad season. Those two are probably two of the top five managers in the world.

So we could safely say that managers back in the old days before Roman Abramovich took over lasted a lot longer. But, you can’t fault the Russian billionaire. Clearly it works. Chelsea have won dozens of top trophies since 2003. Before then, Chelsea hadn’t won the top league in 50 years!

Kepa incident has united Chelsea: Sarri

Kepa incident has united Chelsea: Sarri
Bildbyran

Maurizio Sarri believes the embarrassing Kepa incident has actually reunited the Chelsea squad.

“I think it was the right decision, Kepa made a big mistake, he paid with the club, and then he had to pay with the team.

“But now I have to think we have to stop, Kepa from tomorrow will be with us. He is back in the team for the weekend, I don’t know in the next match if he will be on the pitch or not, but one of the next two he will [start].

“When you are young I think you can make mistakes, and the most important thing is that you need to understand very well after every mistake. For me, now the best thing is to close it.”

“No, I don’t think it was [related to dropping Kepa]. The performance in this match was really very good, but it was in line with the last one. The result was different, but the kind of performance is similar.

“We hope [it is the turning point], but it is most important to think we need a consistency in performances, in results, and as you know very well in this championship it is not easy.

“It is not easy to have consistency of results, but now we need points. It was really very important tonight. Maybe with this result we could involve Tottenham in this fight, because the gap is very large, seven points, but we have to play one match [in hand].”

Sarri discusses his system and football in England

Sarri discusses his system and football in England
Bildbyran

Maurizio Sarri was questioned on his tactics in England and about the criticism he receives for Sarri-ball. This is what he had to say.

“You are talking only about the system, I think, because I like to play always with the same system, but in every match we change almost everything. In the defensive and offensive phase, especially when we have to build up the action with the defenders.

“I think the press consider only the system, not that we change our way of playing in every match. Of course we like to study the opponents, because of course we need to change something in our defensive phase in relation to the movements of our opponents.”

“I am without reaction because first of all in my mind I want to play our football in the right way. The first target is to play in the right way, to have a great level of organisation, to be able to come out to every problem on the pitch, and I don’t want to change before my team is able to play my football in the perfect way.

“In Naples in the last season, when [Arkadiusz] Milik returned from injury, sometimes we played a part of the match in 4-2-3-1, but this team was after three seasons, ready to change.”

“Now I am in the first season in England, and I started to understand some things, not everything at the moment, so now I realise that here it [takes] longer, more difficult. Because the mentality is different.

“For example with an English player it is very easy to have a very good intensity during the training, but it is very difficult to have a session only about tactics. In Italy, it is the opposite; it is very easy to work in tactics, and very difficult to have a very great intensity during the training. It’s different, not worse, not better, just different.

“With English players, but also with the other players, we have a lot of players who have been here a long time so the mentality is an English mentality. I have to understand, and I think I also need to have an English mentality. I think I am improving!”
