Reports claim that Chelsea have taken Wrexham teenager Daniel Davies on a week-long trial. The Champions League winner have faced a summer exodus amongst their youth ranks which has forced them to sign players from non-league teams.
According to the Goal, Blues have an upper hand on signing 16-year-old left-back. Davies had trial offers from Liverpool, Brighton and Stoke City. There would be no compensation would be due if the London club offers a fresh contract to Davies.
Wrexham teenager recently featured for Wales’ U18 team. He has been compared with former Real Madrid star Gareth Bale as he adds value in physicality.
