Andrey Santos was allowed to sign for the same club due to his failed stint at Nottingham Forest. Both players are having training sessions with Chelsea’s senior ranks.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are happy for Santos to have a reunion with Strasbourg for the upcoming season. The deal will be completed when the Blues have played a number of friendlies on a pre-season tour of the US.

Borussia Dortmund are also interested in signing the 20-year-old. Chelsea officials preferred Santos to move to the Ligue 1 giants due to their pending managerial appointment.
