Serge Gnabry snubs Chelsea and commits long-term deal with Bayern Munich.
The German winger has been linked with a Premier League move this summer with Arsenal and Chelsea among the favourites to sign the 27-year-old.
Raphinha has decided to join Barcelona, so Chelsea turned their heads towards the former Arsenal player.
The possibility of winning the Champions League again with Bayern Munich played a key decision in Gnabry’s contract extension with the Bavarians.
‘I thought a lot about what I wanted as a player for the next few years – and came to the conclusion: I want to stay at Bayern, win everything here again and experience something – above all the Champions League again,’ Gnabry told Bayern’s official website.
‘Celebrating titles, but this time with our fans. It’s something special because I can play here with my friends at the highest level. I certainly wouldn’t experience that at any other club.
‘I want to experience great moments here again – and not somewhere else. The hunger for big titles doesn’t go away.’
