Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has had a troubled life at Stamford Bridge.

He was brought in from Marseille as a young striker with great potential but the player has failed to materialise into a great striker for the Blues.

Batshuayi was initially pinned down to a substitute role behind the great Diego Costa. Costa despite all his troubles was worth the salt as he scored regularly and was a constant threat to opponents.

Costa’s winning form meant that his young Belgian student would not start regularly. However, in Batshuayi’s second season, the Costa fell out of favour and Morata was brought in.

Morata’s record transfer fees meant that Chelsea were desperate to prove his worth rather than play it based on form. Batshuayi continued to get frozen out of the first team and this season under new boss Maurizio Sarri, the Belgian forward got loaned out to Valencia.

However, his loan spell turned out to be a nightmare and the player’s season long loan has now been cut short due to poor form. It would seem that Batshuayi has hit rock bottom.

However, if reports are to be believed, Chelsea still have offers from clubs in the Premier League including Everton who want to buy him permanently.

What next for the Belgian striker?
