Chelsea striker targets Winter 2026—here are the forwards Chelsea want to sign in the Summer transfer window of 2026!

Strikers Chelsea wants to sign – who is on Chelsea’s striker target list for this Winter transfer window 2026?

In their search for a new striker who can finally provide them the consistency of goals they’ve been craving, Chelsea have been linked with the following strikers and players: Chelsea has spent around £1 billion since Todd Boehly and company took over at Stamford Bridge in 2022.

Additionally, despite concerns about their ability to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules, the Blues’ spending is anticipated to continue at a high pace this summer.

However, he needs backup! So who are the strikers Chelsea wants to sign?

Omari Kellyman and Estevao Willian, two promising players, were acquired for a total of £58 million, and they have already signed centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham on a free transfer. Furthermore, they have neglected to address what is probably their most pressing need.

For a large portion of the first half of this season, it appeared fortunate that Chelsea was unable to acquire any of their targets because Jackson started the season in excellent form. Chelsea was looking for a new striker last summer.

5. Jonathan David is one of Chelsea’s striker targets for No. 9

  • Value: €46 million
  • Club: Juventus

A less costly choice might be Jonathan David, who replaced Osimhen at Lille. The 24-year-old Canadian striker, who recently ended two straight seasons with 26 goals, may be available this summer for as cheap as £30 million because his contract with the Ligue 1 squad is ready to expire.

With a game-winning goal against Peru in Canada’s second group-stage encounter, David raised his remarkable international strike rate to 27 goals from 47 caps. David is presently on show in the Copa America. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham have all expressed interest in David. Watch & Bet on Football =>

4. Jean-Philippe Mateta is one of Chelsea’s top striker targets

  • Age: 28
  • Value: €37.6 million
  • Club: Crystal Palace

If Chelsea is looking for a somewhat less costly option than Osimhen, Jean-Philippe Mateta, a Crystal Palace standout, may be a smart addition. It is very improbable that the France international would sign a new contract at Selhurst Park. In order to prevent him from departing on a free transfer in 2027, the Eagles may have to consider selling him the next season.

Even though Mateta wouldn’t fit the age range of nearly every signing made by Chelsea under BlueCo’s ownership, his track record in the Premier League might be highly helpful for the west London squad.

Mateta may possibly consent to a rotating position with players like Pedro and Delap. Having another striking weapon in his repertoire would surely make Maresca very happy.

3. Victor Osimhen is Chelsea’s marquee striker target

  • Age: 26
  • Value: £70 million
  • Club: Napoli

According to the most recent sources, Victor Osimhen is in negotiations with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia in anticipation of a potential summer transfer. Before the Club World Cup starts next week, the Saudi Pro League team is rumored to have made the Napoli striker their top transfer target. According to reports, they are prepared to fulfill the player’s current €75 million (£63 million) release clause under his Napoli contract.

Osimhen is still a target for Chelsea. Football.london is aware that they are worried about the player’s wage demands, though. A deal on transfer deadline day last summer is thought to have fallen through because the club was unable to persuade the Nigerian international to reduce his salary expectations to match its rigid compensation structure. The Blues have a practice of negotiating lengthier contracts with lower base salaries. Watch & Bet on Football =>

2. Kenan Yıldız is a budget-friendly Chelsea striker target

  • Age: 20
  • Value: €75 million
  • Club: Juventus

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea is planning a fresh strategy for Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz. Barcelona is keeping an eye on the issue, but the Blues are prepared to go back to the negotiation table for the 20-year-old after initially trying to sign him during the summer. Yildiz’s father, who also serves as his agent, is now negotiating a new deal with the Bianconeri, who wish to retain him in Turin despite interest from Europe.

Chelsea, who tested Juventus’ determination last summer with an offer of about €70 million that was quickly turned down, are keeping a careful eye on events.

Due in large part to the involvement of super-agent Jorge Mendes, who oversees Yildiz’s affairs and keeps open lines of communication with Stamford Bridge, the Blues are still confident in their position.

1. Dusan Vlahovic is Chelsea’s top emerging striker target

  • Club: Juventus

Juventus is reportedly eager to trade star striker Dusan Vlahovic to Chelsea during the January transfer window. The 25-year-old departed Fiorentina in 2022, but his stay in Turin took a nasty turn last season due to disagreements over a new contract offer.

It is thought that Vlahovic was handed a lower-paying deal as Juventus attempted to reduce their compensation cost at the club due to the looming threat of Financial Fair Play (FFP).

In January, Vlahovic will have the opportunity to sign a pre-contract with any international team, including Chelsea. However, in order to get some money back, Juventus plans to push for a sale in January, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

  1. Chelsea should sign Icardi as a main striker
Price doesn’t matter if it paysoff
He is strong and can hold up the ball as Drogba does. Thats why Real tries to get him though he is expensive.
