Chelsea striker Aubameyang labelled a disgrace after Barcelona celebrations

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang labelled a disgrace after Barcelona celebrations. The Chelsea striker was seen celebrating with his former Barcelona teammates after the club’s victory over Real Madrid on Sunday night.

Franck Kessie’s late strike helped Barcelona to defeat Madrid 2-1 in La Liga and they have strengthened their position in table.

Aubameyang joined Chelsea in the summer but he failed to get regular games under Graham Potter. He was replaced by Kai Havertz as a striker.

The 33-year-old has only made 12 Premier League appearances and hasn’t started a game since February.

Chelsea paid Barcelona £12 million for the striker last summer, but the move has not been successful.

Writing in his exclusive CaughtOffside column, Collymore labeled the former Borussia Dortmund forward a ‘disgrace’ and remarked:

“It’s shambolic. A lot of younger fans will say ‘what’s the problem?’ – but it’s not right. This is an elite-level competitive sport – you do not cross certain boundaries and celebrating another team’s victory inside their dressing room is an absolute no-no.“…He’s a Chelsea player so while he’s there, he should be coming across as blue through and through but he doesn’t. He doesn’t really stand for anything, he’s ubiquitous. He’s primed to disappear into the Middle East and Graham Potter will probably be thanking his lucky stars.”
