Chelsea star dismissed suggestions that Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri's style differs greatly

Blues have won all the fixtures so far this season under the 59 year old

Chelsea had a busy summer as they were looking to bolster their squad after an underwhelming campaign, despite winning the FA Cup back in May. Maurizio Sarri was appointed as the new manager after Antonio Conte was sacked.

The 59 year old has brought players like Jorginho from Napoli, Kepa from Athletic Bilbao and Mateo Kovacic on a season long loan from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window. The Blues also managed to keep hold of key players like Eden Hazard, Willian and N’Golo Kante, as they were heavily linked with exits.

The London outfit have won all the 4 Premier League fixtures so far this season against Huddersfield, Arsenal, Newcastle and Bournemouth. They are only 1 of the 2 teams in the Premier League to do so.

There has been suggestions lately that Sarri’s style is way different than Conte and players are loving his approach more. But Chelsea Striker Oliver Giroud claims that their style doesn’t differ greatly that much.

“It’s similar to what we had with Conte,” The France International said as quoted by Goal. “We do a lot of tactical work, he’s very rigorous and precise in his vision of football.

“I came back late, and for sure it’ll take me a bit of time to be prepared. That’s just my case. I’ve got a little gas. I’ve tried to bring more to the team, and in the last couple of matches I’ve been decisive.

“Last year, I won my place. There’s no reason that can’t be the case this year. The most important thing is to be decisive when I’m given my chance, and I hope to have more game time after the international break.”
