Chelsea and Southampton to hold talks over Armando Broja

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admires Broja.

Chelsea are set to hold talks with Southampton over the future of Armando Broja.

According to Hampshire Live, discussions will commence over the on-loan Chelsea striker once Southampton have confirmed their Premier League status for next season.

At the current stage, the Saints are 12th in the English Premier League and 10 points above the relegation zone. They need few more points to secure their Premier League position.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admires Broja but has a vast wealth of attacking talent already at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel spoke about him in January, “Armando’s getting better and better, he’s a very unique player with unique strengths in his game.

“He has speed, he’s robust and he’s a goalscorer. First of all, now is not the moment to discuss the summer, it’s the moment for him to stay calm and keep on improving.”
