Chelsea are clearly in the transfer market for a summer sale!
The Blues ended a rather tough campaign with great ability and now Chelsea has to look forward to the future. Lampard’s men did a commendable job in getting top 4 with an inexperienced side and the Blues are now making provisions for the next season.
They have already secured the signatures of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and are now linked strongly with Kai Havertz. It is also being reported that Chelsea will look to make signings at Left-Back and Centre-Back and get a new goalkeeper as well.
It means that the spending will be rather high and the Blues need to prepare funds for themselves. That is what has led to Chelsea preparing to sell and move on their deadwood.
One of the bigger names Chelsea want off their books is Tiemoue Bakayoko. The French midfielder was signed by the club back in 2017 for £40m but are now prepared to let him leave for a fee in the region of £20m-£25m.
AC Milan are one of the teams interested in signing the player. Chelsea have had a torrid time with the player who has consistently failed to prove himself at the club and now the Blues will have to find a way to move the player off their books.
