Chelsea Looking To Bring In Argentine Striker
Leonaro Confirms Chelsea Haven't Made Any Offers For Gonzalo Higuain

Chelsea are once again in the chase for Gonzalo Higuain with AC Milan reportedly not keen on making his loan deal permanent.

Gonzalo Higuain has had a coloruful career playing for the biggest clubs in Europe. Starting with Real Madrid, then Napoli and Juventus and finally now at AC Milan.

Higuain peaked during his days at Napoli which saw Juventus fork out a record signing to bring him in. However, the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Turin this season saw Higuain cast out on loan to AC Milan this season.

Before his move to Milan however, there was definite interest from Chelsea as well, according to reports. The Blues had recently appointed new boss Maurizio Sarri who had been the first manager to get the best out of Higuain at Napoli.

It was believed Sarri wanted a reunion with his former striker but the Chelsea hierarchy refused to sign an old striker for such an expensive price. However, Chelsea’s option to stick with Morata and Giroud never worked out and the Blues could be in the market in January for a new forward.

This would make Higauin an option once again for the Blues as AC Milan do not wish to make his move permanent and Higuain clearly has no place in Juventus as long as Ronaldo is there.
