Chelsea Set Their Sights On £100m Man To Replace Eden Hazard

Chelsea are set to go up against Manchester United and Real Madrid for the services of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Christian Eriksen.

Rumours of an exit from North London has been circulating around the Dane’s name with the most likely destination being Madrid. However, the Blues are equally in danger of losing Eden Hazard to the Galacticos next summer and that would mean a replacement signing needs to be lined up immediately.

Eriksen is one of the top attacking midfielders in the Premier League and is reported to be worth around £100m. His contract, just like Hazard’s is set to run till the summer of 2020. Spurs have failed to tie the 26-year-old’s services for a longer period and this has started to attract the attention.

Tottenham would hate to lose such an exceptional talent for free and thus might have to start entertaining offers next summer. According to the Express, Eriksen is settled in London and would be happy to sign with a club based in the same city.

Chelsea have already signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund who will arrive next summer. Maurizio Sarri is looking to add more players to the midfield trio after losing Cesc Fabregas to AS Monaco this month.
