Chelsea is considering a set price of £17.5m for Hakim Ziyech with his link-up with AS Roma.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio (h/t Metro), the Blues have set an asking price of £17.5m for winger Hakim Ziyech with Serie A side AS Roma interested in signing him.
Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also in the race. Relegation scrapping Everton have shown interest too.
Roma have entered the race to sign the Morocco international as they prepare for the potential departure of Nicolo Zaniolo. Chelsea are in contact with AC Milan over a deal as well.
The 29-year-old has had an average time at Stamford Bridge since arriving in 2020. He didn’t get regular games.
If he moves to Serie A, it will suit Ziyech’s style of play. The pace of that league isn’t as frantic as Premier League. Roma and Jose Mourinho may get the best out of him.
It’s important to see how Chelsea manages this deal with other Premier League clubs are also in line. It would be a profitable deal for the West London club.
