Sergio Ramos could replicate Thiago Silva’s impact if he came to the Premier League.
The former Real Madrid is yet to decide on his future after he confirmed his departure from Real Madrid.
He will be a free agent by the end of this month and the Blues have been one of the many potential suitors for the Spaniard.
Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of Ramos and could place him right next to Thiago Silva if they decided to sign him.
Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes Ramos can replicate Thiago Silva’s success at the Premier League even at the age of 35.
Chelsea’s ex-manager said: “Look at Thiago Silva. His is a similar situation.
“He didn’t stay at Paris when people would have expected him to stay in Paris for a couple more seasons.
“He didn’t. He came to Chelsea and signed one season with an option for one more. He didn’t play every match.
“He had a couple of little muscular issues. But, in big matches he gave great stability. You can imagine how much he helped the team.
“I believe Ramos is in a similar situation. He is even more physical than Thiago to cope with the Premier League demands.
“He is very good in the air. I have no doubts that he can play with the intensity and the demands of the Premier League.”
