Gabriel Slonina could be a future competition for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Chelsea are planning to sign MLS goalkeeper to boost their squad. They look set to welcome another goalkeeper in Gabriel ‘Gaga’ Slonina.
According to the reports of The Athletic, Thomas Tuchel’s side has ‘reached a verbal agreement’ with MLS side Chicago Fire for the 18-year-old.

The young goalkeeper has made 33 appearances for Chicago Fire in MLS and registered 13 clean sheets in the process. He could be a future competition for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Following the completion of his medical Slonina is expected to stay in the United States for the time being and eventually make the move to England in January.
The deal reportedly includes a $10 million base fee with additional escalators to potentially increase.
