Chelsea are on a transfer spree at the moment!

The Blues are spending and doing it wisely. After tapping up four players in Malang Sarr (for free) and Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, and Hakim Ziyech for a net worth of £128m, Chelsea it seems are far from done with their summer business.

The Blues are on the verge of announcing the transfer of Thiago Silva for free and Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen for a club-record fee of £90m.

While these transfers will strengthen the Blues, it also means that they will have to sell and many players have reportedly been put on an unsaid notice according to Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

The message from the board is clear – improve or be sold!

“I am always happy to see new faces in the team,” Rudiger told Transfermarkt.

“After the transfer ban last summer, we were of course hoping to get some real reinforcements. With Hakim, I immediately had a good feeling and my relation to and opinion about Timo is already known.

“With such names, the club is also sending a clear message to the existing personnel that they want to take another step forward in the overall development. I think that is great!”

It now remains to be seen who makes the final cut at Stamford Bridge come September!
